Given how much the primitives hated this same MSM for, in their warped opinion, not doing enough to expose Trump, shouldn't they be cheering what he's doing and saying the the press is getting exactly what they deserve?

I heard the press conference.  I thought the President handled himself brilliantly.  He was posed, on point, very civil. and anything but "unstable".   Why is insisting on truthful reporting by a very rogue press being a threat to democracy?

IF the speech was as bad as they say, there would not be a meltdown, rather there would be rejoicing at his failure.

the meltdown happened because Trump was successful as shaping the message and bypassing the media to get that message out. his mastery of the media is what drove DUmmy angst and tears.

I watched it at work then watched it again last night. Trump was brilliant, funny and on point. "Very fake news." Aside from the comedic value of their exchange Trump was telling the absolute truth. I couldn't handle that situation with the grace he had. I would've been the headline, "President rants and raves at the press."

Few Rs have been willing to recognize how partisan - partisan, not merely biased - the MSM have increasingly been the past 50 years. Just a handful of Rs - if that many - have had the courage to call MSM folk on their partisanship.

Trump did all that and played their partisan hysteria-hatred into 10s of millions of $$ of free advertising during the campaign. And now he's grinding their noses into it.
