It doesn't matter what a history they may have with liberalism; All they have to do is oppose a Democratic politician, and under the bus they go.
Case in point: Cindy Sheehan.
For years, the DUmmies worshiped that demented, power- hungry hag using her courageous son's grave as a soapbox to advance her own political agenda and ambitions. I recall one DUmmy, I believe his/ her name was Hekate, at one point claimed that Sheehan was the spiritual reincarnation of the Greek goddess Demeter (And yet they accuse Christians of being stupid and having bizarre beliefs out of touch with reality). However, when she then tried to run for Nancy Pelosi's Senate seat, the DUmmies' support for her dried up quicker than a tiny puddle in the summer sun.

I'd describe LaSheehan as publicity-hungry rather than power-hungry. Her progress was something like:

1. Useful idiot lionized;

2. No longer useful and dumped;

3. Ran against Miss Nancy and treated as a traitor.

Using the term narrowly and gingerly, LaSheehan was principled anti-war. The Sheehans had a tax lien slapped on their home in the 90s because they refused to pay their property taxes, as a protest against WJC's war activities in the Balkans. And IIRC, she ran against Miss Nancy because of her support for BHO's dronings. She also was sued by the Feds in 2012 for failing to pay Federal taxes since 2004 or 2005.

I doubt he ever got within 100 feet of the Ditch Witch.  He did, however, take a selfie of himself in a cowboy hat at the Waco airport that was a source of ridicule for years.  :rotf:

I always wondered what happened to that nut.  I hadn't thought of her in years until Code Pink came out of their 8 year coma after the election. Talk about tipping your hand.
