The Washington Examiner is reporting that Hollywood is asking for President Trump’s help in protecting their profits. This request comes after months of hateful comments and calls of violence towards President Trump.

President Trump‘s political opponents in the music industry would like his help in at least one regard:
The laws that govern who makes money off of music.
“The Recording Academy, together with America’s music makers, call on the president and Congress to help keep the music playing by updating music laws, protecting music education, and renewing America’s commitment to the arts,” Neil Portnow, the president of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, said during the 2017 Grammy Awards Sunday night.
Hollywood has been anything but kind to President Trump so far. Meryl Streep has attacked the President in speeches she has given, Madonna threatened to blow up the White House, Big Sean rapped in songs about murdering the President with an Ice Pick and Katy Perry used Sunday night’s Grammys to attack the President.
