Sears, Kmart Remove Trump Line of Home Furnishings from Websites
« on: February 11, 2017, 06:26:12 PM »
Sears and Kmart have stopped selling products from the Trump Home line on their websites, Business Insider reports.

Items from Trump Home, which is part of the Trump Organization, were reportedly not available on both websites and did not appear in a search of either website as of Friday.

Sears sold 19 Trump Home items on their website and Kmart sold 13 Trump Home items on their website as of Tuesday, according to brand strategist Shannon Coulter, who started the #GrabYourWallet Trump boycott.

They are both looking money big time and will probably be out of business by the end of the year.

Haven't been in either store in over a decade.  K-Mart bought Sears, if that tells you anything.

Sears and K-Mart are both on LIFE SUPPORT.

Sears and K-Mart have lost NUMEROUS suppliers recently, because the suppliers are fearful that they will NEVER GET PAID.  I bet that Trump pulled their products from Sears and K-Mart for that exact reason.

Bingo! As H2BM pointed out, they are one company; Zombie K bought Zombie S and decided to use the name of Zombie S for the name of the resulting mega-zombie.

Sears Holdings has been closing S and K stores by the hundreds the past 10 or more years, and selling off lines like Craftsman tool to get cash to sustain operations. Vendors are justifiably concerned about Sears Holdings' ability to pay for merchandise purchases.

Sears' tribulations are a part of what has been happening for a long time to stores with their business model. Montgomery Ward went under long ago. And J. C. Penney has defib paddles hovering over it.

Actually, I've been in a Sears a fair amount in the past several years. The parking at their end of the mall is fairly plentiful, and we walk through Sears to enter the mall and go to where we are really going. I don't think we've bought anything in Sears for at least 2 or 3 years.
