New Education Secretary DeVos Harassed, Blocked From Entering DC School

This is awful!

Far Left activists learned that new Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos was visiting a DC school today.

They set up an ambush for her. They blocked her from entering the school.

As she walked away, a white man with a “Black Lives Matter” poster yelled, “Shame, shame, shame.”

Then another Leftist jumped in front of her SUV.

“Education Secretary Betsy DeVos was physically blocked by protesters from entering Jefferson Academy in SW, D.C. Friday morning. DeVos turned away and left, ABC7 reporter Sam Sweeney told us. It is unclear if she attempted another door. DeVos was preparing to attend Jefferson Academy early Friday morning after the gathering was organized by the Washington teacher’s Union. The union, who said they did not support DeVos’ nomination, also stated they hope that she is successful. They said if DeVos succeeds in her role than everyone succeeds – including all public schools and teachers.”

This is outrageous!

DeVos was welcomed by the teacher’s union, and Leftists still attacked her?

Liberals must denounce these personal attacks on Trump’s team!

Black Lives Matter Protesters Block Education Sec. DeVos From Entering DC Public School

According to WJLA, DeVos attempted to enter the Jefferson Academy but Black Lives Matter protesters, organized by the Washington Teacher’s Union blocked the entry way while heckling her, she turned around and returned to her car.

The Alliance For Educational Justice claimed,  “Today, families, residents and community leaders joined to block U.S. Department of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos from disrupting learning at Jefferson Academy.”

DeVos responded in a statement following the incident saying, ” I respect peaceful protest, and I will not be deterred in executing the mission of the Department of Education. No school door in America will be blocked from those seeking to help our nation’s school children.”

I do not favor "Doxing", publishing people's names, addresses, etc. on the public Internet, but I hope some conservative news/blog sources IDs some of those "protesters" and to whom they are connected. My guesses are NEA, AFT, and SEIU. There's another government employees' union whose name eludes me, who belongs on that list. I'd be particularly interested in know whether that "meeting" was, in fact, a set-up carried out by the people who invited her.
