John Edwards would make an excellent attorney general, and I don't see why he shouldn't get it
Once Obama is elected president, I don't see any reason whatsoever to preclude John Edwards from the attorney general position. He is fully qualified for the job and I think he would be an excellent choice.

Since the Democrats are poised to take a true majority in both houses after the election, there shouldn't be any opposition either.

I'm not happy that John Edwards decided to put the country at risk by running in the primaries, but he didn't win the nomination and there is no reason he can't have a spot in the Obama administration. Not vice president, obviously, but something else. His fight to end poverty is to be commended and I certainly hope this non issue of him putting his penis in another woman other than his wife doesn't prevent him from continuing that important work.

Sweet sassy molassey.

Their bar for AG is THAT low, but they have a problem with Bush's AGs?

What makes Edwards so qualified the nation can't get along without him?  Attorney Generals are a dime a dozen.  You can buy 'em anywhere.  For you to get to him, I'd have to move over, and I'm gonna stand right here.  It will be over my dead body, so get out while you can. Cuz you ain't woman enough to take my man.

"Family Tree" from the Van Lear Rose CD

Woman, you don't know me, but you can bet that I know you
Everybody in this whole darn town knows you too
I brought along our little babies, 'cause I wanted them to see
The woman that's burnin' down our family tree

No I didn't come to fight
If he was a better man I might
But I wouldn't dirty my hands on trash like you, no
Bring out the babies' daddy, that's who they've come to see
Not the woman that's burnin' down our family tree

Their daddy once was a good man, until he ran into trash like you
Take a look at the baby's face and tell me who loves who
I brought along his old dog Charlie and the bills that's overdue
The job you're workin'...Lord, we need money, too

No I didn't come to fight
If he was a better man I might
But I wouldn't dirty my hands on trash like you, no
Bring out the babies' daddy, that's who they've come to see
Not the woman that's burnin' down our family tree
No not the woman that's burnin' down our family tree

I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Spread my work ethic, not my wealth.

Forget change, bring back common sense.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Oh, fer'sur!  That one is better.  "Family Tree", I like it.

You can have him when I'm dead and gone,
I've been told that won't be too long,
But right now he's a family man,
And I know where I stand.

Now I have some words of advice,
I won't try to say it nice,
One day you'll know what I knew,
If he'll do it with you, he'll do it to you.

That statement reveals how hypocritical and deluded the primitives are as the real lfe John Edwards would look at something stuck to the bottom of his shoe with less disdain then he would for them.

Unless that is there was a way for him to make a buck off them. :whatever:
