Senator Tim Scott reads racist tweets on Senate Floor

S.C. Senator Tim Scott read tweets aimed at him this week over his support of Sen. Jeff Sessions to be the new Attorney General:

SEN. TIM SCOTT: I go on to read from folks who wanted to share their opinions about my endorsing Jeff Sessions. 'You are a disgrace to the black race.' Anthony Burnham says: 'You are an Uncle Tom, Scott.'

'How does a black man turn on his own?'

Anthony B says: 'Sen. Tim Scott is not an Uncle Tom, he doesn't have a shred of honor, he is a House Negro, like the one in [the film] Django [Unchained].'

He also writes...: 'A black man who is racist against black people. Big Uncle Tom piece of fertilizer.'

Think for yourselves. 'You're a disgrace to your race.'

I left out all the ones that use the n-word. I felt like that would not be appropriate. You see, what I am surprised by is that the liberal left that speaks and desires for all of us to be tolerant do not want to be tolerant of anyone that disagrees with where they are coming from.

It's hard to add to that, but that's the reality of what the Democrat Party has worked hard to be.

Further reality is that AG Sessions could be the best Attorney General in US history, and many Ds/Libs/Progs would still condemn him as a racist.

Having nothing to lose means AG Sessions has total freedom to be good, as he wants to be - and as Ds/Libs/Progs fear.
