Texas this and Cleburne that. Every time one of these jag offs starts crowing about being from Texas I can't help but flash back to the lying Tom in Tib fool. That idiot claimed to be a direct decendant of Sam Houston himself.

There's something about him that reminds me of a frog.

Well, he did say something about going to France . . . :whistling:
"Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of Liberty." - Thomas Jefferson

"All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk!" -Ayn Rand

"Those that trust God with their safety must yet use proper means for their safety, otherwise they tempt Him, and do not trust Him.  God will provide, but so must we also." - Matthew Henry, Commentary on 2 Chronicles 32, from Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible

"These anti-gun fools are more dangerous to liberty than street criminals or foreign spies."--Theodore Haas, Dachau Survivor

I'd heard of Aix, but that's all, just heard of it.  Apparently it's near the Cote d'Azur, which means the old guy's loaded.....thus making his past support of the grouchy old sourassed sourpuss Methuselah, leader of the gimme crowd, somewhat ah, hypocritical.

<<<wonders if they considered Biarritz, the "in" place to be, but maybe they did, and found even he couldn't afford it.

Like I said in my post on the previous page, a lot of the places those DU-folk were talking about moving to are pretty high-end. Those - like "DFW" - are not man/woman-of-the-people types, they're 5%ers or 10%ers. Which would be fine, but for their being hypocritical Poser-Progressives.

I hear Syria is really nice this time of year.  Land prices are rock bottom and the whole country is full of fixer uppers.

Could any liberal cite anything that President Trump said about restricting LGBT rights?

The closest thing I've heard is that President Trump wants to restore religious freedom for Christians.  He doesn't think it's right that Christians can be sued out of business for not catering to fags.

Which is tantamount to rounding them up and sending them off to the camps.

BTW, why were liberal artists not required to play the Inaugural ball under the same premise?

Wow! Moving to, variously, Aix, France (Can you say, "French Riviera"? I knew you could.), Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Central America? Lots pf posh places! Who knew DU harbored such a nest of affluents? These folks (toss DFW into the mix) may not be, literally, 1%ers, but if they're talking seriously, they're 5%ers or 10%ers. Espousing Marxism-Populism publicly, while being affluent themselves ... I don't condemn (or envy, for that matter) their wealth, just their hypocrisy.

Setting that aside,

And good riddance!

Not so unusual, really, remember the biggest UK traitors like Philby who helped Stalin get the nukes were all upper class 'Old boys' who had been to the 'Right' schools, as were the Western apologists, propagandists, and deniers of his and Mao's immense crimes against humanity both in the US and UK.
