Coach, you used primitives and thinking in the same sentence! 
The way the primitives think--insofar as a nearly-insentient being might think--is like one of those baked potatoes that looks done, cooked all the way through, but's still raw on the inside.
Ugh.
They think until they come to the conclusion they want and then stop thinking, despite that there's still a whole lot more to think about.
It's one of the first principal characteristics of primitivity that I first defined, circa 2006.
