Get ready to bawl..TO SIR WITH LOVE
After 3 million of us smacked Cheeto in the kisser, this will send him over the edge. Wonderful.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10028514640This song was a smash hit when I was a kid. I never saw the movie but it starred black actor Sidney Poitier as the teacher of a class of troubled inner city kids from London. It puts checkmarks on all the leftist touchstones so you know that the primitives are all going to feign adoration for it.
The women singing it do a pretty good job of it, but a tribute to Barry on a show that's supposed to lampoon politicians? They didn't change the lyrics one bit--no mocking parody lyrics at all. Just a straightforward cover sang in front of a huge poster of Obama. I watched the video all the way through and kept waiting for a parody lyric or some kind of punchline, but it never came.

1. Perfect. Just perfect!
Growing up, that was one of my favorite movies ever.
And a couple of years ago when Harper Lee was in the news, I'm sure that To Kill a Mockingbird was this primitive's favorite movie.

7. Newly out of book camp
and best I remember the first movie I went to see. I've loved the cast of that movie my whole adult life.
Thank you SNL for bringing those memories back so beautifully
Book camp? Never heard of it. I went to 4-H camp, I've heard of other kinds of camps, but never book camp. Sounds like a real blast.

2. I hope he sees this. nt
Barry doesn't need to see this, it's part of the soundtrack that plays in his head every time he looks in the mirror.

5. I wasnt ready for the tears, wow, this is hard to believe...
Nobody would expect you to be ready for tears, you were watching what is supposed to be a comedy show.

9. Tears. So touching.
Probably more impactful if you saw the Sydney Poitier movie. Lots of parallels
Probably more impactful and touching if you belong to the cult of President Shit Midas.
