I thought it was fitting to give a business some business today. So that's what we did with the pizza joint down the street.
I
really wanted to do that today, but unfortunately things interfered, this probably being the worst inaugural day in my life since January 20, 1993, when I slipped on ice walking out of a coin-and-stamp store, and lost my right elbow.
That both were rotten days had no connection with what was going on 1500 miles east of me.
By 7:30 in the evening, I hadn't eaten anything the past twelve hours, but wasn't feeling motivated to dine.
I did however cook three farm-fresh eggs, over medium, salt and pepper, and slipped them inside three whole-wheat hamburger buns, dry, no mayonnaise or other. It was okay though, because earlier today decent and civilized people recaptured America, after forty years of the Age of Aquarius.
