I am in tears, of joy!  **** the ex-Presidential losers.
Ya know, I posted embassy the hel l back in summer of '15 my view that President (then Candidate) Trump would ignite a megaton of American support, and I for one did NOT expect my President to be a counselor, a pastor or anything save a Patriot.  I tried to pinpoint my little post, but like all of us who have been here for awhile, fishing for one teeny post is impossible.
I started crying when the Mormon Tabernacle Choir began its glorious paen to God and country, and I'm still crying.
I've become estranged from people in my life, and today reached out to them via text.  Who knows what the reaction will be, but I can only imagine were the awful Clinton being inaugurated, I'd be in a fetal position.
Today I'm determined to love everyone, even the ****ing bitter never trumpers.

Tomorrow, back to battle!
Sneaking into a country doesn't make you an immigrant any
more than breaking into someone's house makes you part of the family.

Thank you.

I haven't felt like an American in over two decades.

Today, I did.

Yeah, I ALWAYS was proud to be an American, but the collection of horrors preceding President Trump had been steadily eroding my pride and joy.
Thank you, God, and all the stalwart American patriots who still believe the USA is the greatest nation ever conceived, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.
I haven't felt the stirring of liberty and patriotic fervor in my core being so strongly since I was a young girl in the 1960's.
Ever since 1968 and hideous anti-American haters rioting on the streets of Chicago, this country has strayed further and further away from its hopeful, faith based moorings.
By the way, nice little tidbit, President Trump's team already at work....the official White House website no longer has a climate change section!
We're going back to the era of WE THE PEOPLE, e.g.., common sense.

Like a lot of people (I would guess), I prayed hard for President Trump to win the election.  The morning after he won, I changed the prayer slightly--it was updated to a prayer of thanksgiving for his election.  And I've continued to pray in thanksgiving for President Trump's election since then.  Each school morning, as I bring my daughter to her Catholic school, we pass one of the Catholic Churches (Note:  My effin' autocorrect won't let the word "churches" go uncapitalized.) in the area.  As we go onto the road, both my daughter and I pray that intention, in addition to some others.

Once our prayers are answered, we need to pray in thanksgiving for the prayer being answered the way we want it to be.
"Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of Liberty." - Thomas Jefferson

"All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk!" -Ayn Rand

"Those that trust God with their safety must yet use proper means for their safety, otherwise they tempt Him, and do not trust Him.  God will provide, but so must we also." - Matthew Henry, Commentary on 2 Chronicles 32, from Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible

"These anti-gun fools are more dangerous to liberty than street criminals or foreign spies."--Theodore Haas, Dachau Survivor
