My God, the guy's not even in office yet, and the primitives already know what he's going to do.

Like their track record for accuracy in predicting things is impeccable.....

Ben Carson, you've got to be kidding.......

I just moved my 86 year old mom into a HUD senior high rise. Her rent is approximately 20% of her income. Her medical expenses from my understanding reduce her income. So the rent covers everything but phone & cable. It is very manageable for her.

I'm afraid that Carson will attempt to raise the income requirements for HUD housing, make the payment of utilities the responsibility of the renter and take money away for the management and maintenance of these buildings.

So Carson along with every other Trump nominee scares the bejesus out of me.

3. we are shaking in our boots here in chi.

we have enough trouble around here w/o these idiots totally screwing up all that we have done to fix subsidized housing. (which is nowhere near enough)

thank ja the big high rises are mostly gone now. can only imagine how that would turn out. i did read dante, tho, so i have a clue.

4. the high rise mom is in....

Was built in the late '80s. A group of Catholic Nuns got about 5 of them funded & built. The buildings are non denominational but managed by these Sisters.

They are so nondenominational that nothing religious can be displayed on your apt. door.*

The parking lot is cleaned by the Pastor of the Church that shares the lot with the building.

*<<<wonders why the primitive thinks this is important.

7. I assume Carson will do nothing at the postunless lobbyists give him money to make certain decisions

Left on his own he will likely get bored with the job and simply not do it at all. Meaning lots of vacancies and slowly destroying the efficiency of the program. He doesn't strike me as a man that wants to do a good job in housing as much as a man that wants some more recognition so he can sell more books later on. He's in the book selling business, not housing.

Keep it up, DUmmies.  Attack an accomplished pediatric neurosurgeon who is an African American conservative.  Worked so well thus far for you, didn't it.

This level of consternation has to be unhealthy, especially for extended periods of time.  I almost* wish for the primitives to somehow be at peace, even if only briefly.

Chicagoans murdered 762 of their fellow cesspool dwellers in 2016 with thousands more maimed and you're worried about a black man walking away from the plantation.

And as we all know, HUD is a model of ruthless efficiency, much like the Porkulus bureaucracy.
Right in the front row at the Efficiency Hall of Fame.

Carson probably couldn't make it less efficient if he went out and personally started booting the elderly tenants out the front door and selling them books as he did so.

Carson is off the D Plantation, so he must be destroyed. I think they mistake his poise for weakness. The tactic worked really well with Justice Thomas. But Libs & Progs won't abandon the tactic until it's jammed down their throats and yanked out the other end.

I think Johonny is a bit confused. Pay-for-Play was The SHREW-CHILL's MO.

How about eternal blissful peace?

Given DU's high percentage of avowed and functional atheists, that might not go well for them.

The 'eternal blissful peace' would be for us . . . :whistling:

Taking the phrase out of its context, "temporal and eternal" peace.

Assuming that this primitive is somewhere in its 50's or 60's.
If at that age the best I could do was move my parent(s) into HUD housing, I would not be bragging about it at the DUmp or anywhere else.

The primitive should take out an insurance policy and then off themselves so that Mom can live in a decent facility.
It is not Mom's fault she gave birth to a total loser. :thatsright:
