President Barack Obama said on Friday that criticism from the left wing of his own Democratic Party helped feed into the unpopularity of Obamacare, his signature healthcare reform law.Obama has been spending part of his last two weeks in office urging supporters to speak out against plans by Republicans – who will soon control both the White House and Congress – to dismantle the 2010 Affordable Care Act.

1. Obamacare was a Third Way sellout to the insurance industry.
It did some good, but was structurally doomed to fail anyway. That’s what the Third Way gets you, a little good followed by a lot of bad.
If Obama and the Democrats would have included a real public option, the left would be fighting from the barricades to save it. Instead, he sold us out.

7. I applied but turned it down
because it was immediately apparent that I was better off without. Didn’t allow me to keep my doctor, the premium was double what I had been paying plus $2500 deductible. If you are in middle class bracket, you can’t afford.

The culture the hippies were countering had its flaws and things that needed to be abolished but you infants were iconoclasts first and always. But the original culture evolved based on millennia of human experience.
Counter-culture is nothing more than "I don't like this because it isn't me" which is just another way of saying bigotry.
You had no other means of defending the ACA because that is the means by which your entire movement was born.

that all could be covered by this. It should be affordable for all, or how are you going to pay for the ones who don’t pay for it? I had already turned down my work related premium because it was higher than I felt affordable, but the premium for ACA was several hundred more than the retirement policy. First time in 40 years of working that I can’t have insurance because I can’t afford.

I saw that astrophuss, and it got me so angry I had to post here and support you. I could post plenty of facts and figures from friends who decided to just pay the fine and drop coverage (I’m on Medicare), but I won’t go to SV, I won’t give them the post count, and I don’t discuss anything with brainwashed fools!

Many there are still blaming Sanders for the dems problems. Calling his supporters “right wing Ron Paulites’ and him “Precious Purist Bernie ” among other things. Sad.
