How about we all use an inverted American flag avatar?
This is a repeat of a post from yesterday and why it's important.
For those who don't know, an upside down American flag is not a sign of disrespect. It is a signal of distress.
I recently had a discussion with DUer DLevine about using the inverted flag avatar as a statement. There are almost a quarter of a million registered DUers. Wouldn't it be great if, on Inauguration Day, this site showed all inverted flag avatars?
Many here did so during the Cheney/Bush years and right now our country is hovering on the edge of a cliff. We control none of the levers of power, so making a strong statement is the least we can do.
I've changed mine from my Eiffel Tower avatar. How about joining DLevine, me, and so many others here on DU by using this symbol of distress, and showing our resistance to the impending threats to our freedoms.
C'mon. How about doing it?
(I'm really gonna miss my Eiffel Tower, but hopefully, I'll be able to change it back sometime in the not-to-distant future.)

I don't know. I kinda take that as a subtle hint for someone to off Trump, in which case they'd get Pence, but DUmmies aren't known for their forward thinking abilities.

Sure.. It worked so well when they did the same thing during the Bush presidency... Remember how quickly he was frog marched out of the Oval Office, and President in Exile Gore was sworn in ? That was all because of the fearsome power of DU.. And now that Democratic Underground has 'increased' to at least a quarter of the active members they had back then, it is certain that not only with super villain Trump will be frog marched out, his business holdings will be seized, and used to pay reparations to illegal immigrants, minorities, and the nation of Mexico.

Why do you think HRC is going to be at Trump's swearing in ? It's not for Trump, it's so she can immediately take power as trump is dragged to a supermax facility.. Connect the dots man ! Good times are coming for us all ! Connect the freaking dots !!!!
