House Democrats objected...but the 48 Democratic Senators wilted. This is why we loose.

Still one must wonder why democrats in office might seek to uphold a lawful vote of the people?
What could possibly compel a democrat in high office to uphold basic Constitutional law?

I read an article that said it was  Sheila Jackson Lee and the CBC complaining. Biden basically told them to STFU, they had no standing and there was not going to be a debate.

About the only greater deterrent to any D Senator half inclined to object would have been Mad Maxine standing next to and supporting her. Not that I think any D Senator was so much as a quarter inclined to object. They aren't DU-stupid - not even Stand-up-Chuck Biden, surprisingly.
