Russia Closes U.S./U.K./Canadian International School For Children of Diplomats

According to CNN – A U.S. official briefed on the matter told the network that Russian officials had issued an order closing the Anglo-American School of Moscow Thursday.

The K-12 school is chartered by the American, Canadian and British embassies in Moscow and has about 1,250 students from 60 countries, according to its website. Students are currently on winter break.

However, CTH would be remiss if we didn’t remind readers the West Palm Beach region of Florida houses many well connected influential Russian nationals who can/could act as emissaries and carry a back channel message from Putin to Trump at his Mar-a-Largo estate.

Message from the Director regarding media reports of the closure of the Anglo American School Moscow campus.

You may have heard and seen reports coming through the media stating that the Russian authorities have closed the Anglo American School, Moscow campus. Senior Russian officials have refuted this story.

The school is planning to open as scheduled following the New Year break.
We will keep you updated through e-mails, postings on our website and if it is urgent.

CNN pooed the screwch. Had it been Fox News there'd be multiple threads about it on DU, and there'd be Congress critters demanding a Congressional investigation and FCC action against Fox-affiliated broadcast stations.

The culprit being CNN, any peep about this from pols or DU?
