Remember, those disapproval ratings came from the same MSM that told us cankles had a 12 point lead a week before the election and would win in a landslide the day before the election.
That was the uncertainty I was feeling at the time (not that it ruled my life or anything like that). That the MSM played games with poll sampling and poll questions is common knowledge among those willing to acknowledge it. But knowing that doesn't give a clue to reality. Adding to the uncertainty is the fact that in the past the MSM usually slid toward reality in their polling just before the election; in 2016 they didn't do that, but that's hindsight.
So I was mildly surprised - and GREATLY relieved - to learn on Wednesday AM after the election that Trump had won.

The SHREW-CHILL actually campaigned in WI and consistently campaigned in MI and PA and pretended to give a @#$% about theologically conservative Christians, we might be having very different conversations.
Looking back at 2008, well, a Hades of a lot of what lost Election 2016 had not yet happened - no pay-to-play corruption, no scofflaw email server, no mishandling of highly classified info, no "Arab Spring", Benghazi, and Syrian F-Ups. Add to that McCain and all his baggage (McCain-Feingold,
The Gang of 14), I think
The SHREW-CHILL could have won in 2008, possibly very handily.
