Federal judge blocks recount in Pennsylvania

A federal judge in Pennsylvania blocked Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein's recount bid in the state.  U.S. District Judge Paul Diamond on Monday rejected a request by Stein to recount paper ballots in the state and examine voting machines in certain counties for any indicatioon of hacking.

Diamond's ruling is the latest setback in Stein's quixotic effort to initiate recounts in three states President-elect Donald Trump narrowly beat Hillary Clinton.

Last week the Michigan Supreme Court refused to take up Stein's appeal of a lower court ruling over starting a recount in that state, effectively ending any chance of a recount there.

Wisconsin is the only state of the three where the recount is going forward. It's expected to be completed Monday.

Stein's effort has never been about a serious issue. She's just trying to suppress enough states' votes (through incomplete recounts) so that those states could not vote in the EC, throwing the Presidential election into the House. IIRC, that purpose would fail if MI or PA voted, so between the two rulings her effort has apparently failed, with margin. What's left is whether or not WI's votes get suppressed by an incomplete recount.

I hope the voters of MI, PA, and WI pay close attention to this vote suppression attempt. While Stein's name is on it, she acting as a Clinton surrogate. For all their fauxny outrage over "voter suppression" and "count every vote", Progressives have been try to suppress every vote cast in 3 entire states!
