Annoying Anti-Smoker Pushed Onto Commuter Rail Tracks (BBC)
 http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/kent/7544748...

Two men pushed a woman onto railway tracks after she told them to stop smoking, police have said.

The woman, 58, suffered a broken wrist and bruises to her legs at Farningham Road station in Kent but officers said she was lucky to be alive.

She landed inches away from the live third rail, which carries 750 volts.

Det Insp Bob Richardson said it appeared the woman had spoken to the two men about smoking earlier in the week.

Who wants to move to the UK with me?

(I don't smoke, btw.)

1. Typical smoker attitude, when confronted by their attempts to harm the public they try direct murder
Smokers are so wrapped up in themselves they are willing to do about anything to maintain their fix..They really don't seem to care whom they harm just so they can enjoy their smoke..

11. Really? Your an authority on the "typical smoker" are you?
What an ignorant, presumptuous sweeping generalization for which of course you have no empirical support.

12. Whenever someone says "Typical __________",
I know that person is an obvious fool who is filled with hate.

22. Brace yourself for some hardball devil's advocate: kind of like "Typical White Person?"
I seem to remember a presidential nominee saying something like that.

I agree. There's someone I'm thinking about, and his name is on the tip of my tongue, I just can't remember it to save my life.  :uhsure:
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

I laughed out load when I read the headline! Tobacco is a legal substance and it shouldn't be anyone's business if you smoke it.

Read the story.  They were smoking in a prohibited area.  So they where already breaking the law when they decided to add attempted murder to the rap sheet.

Or maybe I laughed out "loud".  Oops!  :whatever:
Yeah, I know they were in a prohibited area I'm just glad to see a persecuted class fighting back. Maybe that's extreme but hey, I quit smoking twenty years ago but again, It's a legal substance and people shouldn't be made social outcasts for smoking it.
I agree they could have done something besides push her on the tracks. Which I still think is pretty funny. The lady could have also moved somewhere else right?
