I'm eager to see what G4Graham is doing with his multi-generational presidential sequence chart for all the Clinton and Obama offspring.

This election surely put a little bump in it for him. Don't know that he can recover.

G4A most likely still thinks Hillary won.  In his mind everything is just fine.  That guy is so far out in left field he is beyond hope.

It would be nice if nothing were substantially changed, but many DU members hated DI worse than any other site because it was hosted by DU management, it had no moderation (save in the most extreme situations, mostly "sock" account removal), no M.I.R.T. and allowed political opinions to vary well outside lockstep, unthinking, book-burning, torch-and-pitchfork Democratic dogmatic views...

A whole month to get up an under construction page when only DU, not DI, was hacked?

We need it back by the EC vote and, more importantly, by Trump's inauguration so we can prove just how wrong Nate Silver, the polls and just about every other pundit were.

Eagerly awaiting the return.  Not only to see if Graham is still alive but to see the 1000's of cartoons that LMPV has stored up.

Well, here's hoping Discussionist is brought back exactly as it was prior to the plug being pulled - safe space free, unmoderated,  and open to all ideas and opinions...the polar opposite of DU, in other words. :cheersmate:

BTW: That's the first time I've seen an animated "Under Construction" .gif since around 2003. I wonder which now long defunct website via the internet Way Back Machine Skinner snatched that from?
