Many women feel this way about Hillary Clinton's defeat in the GE. The loss is not just political; it's personal.
After achieving an advanced degree, becoming comfortably ensconced in a well paying job at a liberal university, and living your life by (more or less) your own decisions, you cannot handle the electoral loss of a woman who knows nothing about you and will never do anything to benefit you first? Your world is so fragile that it hinges upon hillary winning because she has a vagina?
