It’s going to cost Michigan up to $5 Million, when they desperately need money to address Flint issues.

    LANSING — The Michigan Court of Appeals ruled Tuesday that the Board of State Canvassers never should have allowed a recount requested by Green Party candidate Jill Stein to proceed, because she has no chance to overturn the result of the presidential election in her favor and is not an aggrieved candidate.

    The panel ordered the board to “reject the Nov. 30, 2016 petition of candidate Stein that precipitated the current recount process.”

    The ruling came out almost simultaneously with a 2-1 order from the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals which upheld U.S. District Judge Mark Goldsmith’s Monday order that the recount must get under way at noon that day, which it did.

    The combined effect of the two rulings appears to set up further court proceedings in front of Goldsmith and the Michigan Republican Party has already filed for another federal hearing.

    “The Michigan Court of Appeals ruled in our favor, determining that the petition for recount filed by Dr. Jill Stein should have been denied,” said Ronna Romney McDaniel, chairwoman of the Michigan Republican Party. “Dr. Stein is not an aggrieved candidate as she has no chance of winning the election in Michigan.”

From another source...

Michigan's presidential recount suddenly appears in doubt after a state appeals court said the Green Party candidate's poor showing disqualified her from seeking a second look at the votes.

Meanwhile, the fate of a statewide recount push in Pennsylvania must wait at least until Friday, when a federal judge has scheduled a hearing.

President-elect Donald Trump narrowly defeated Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in both states and Wisconsin, which started its recount last week. The recounts requested by Green Party candidate Jill Stein were not expected to change enough votes to overturn the result of the election.

Stein, who received about 1 percent of the vote in all three states, says her intent is to verify the accuracy of the vote. She has suggested, with no evidence, that votes cast were susceptible to computer hacking.

With Stein bringing the action and not Clinton, I was wondering how she could possibly establish 'standing' to bring the action. Evidently a higher Michigan court wondered the same thing...

===============================

With less than 1% of the vote going to Stein in the three states undergoing the Jill Stein recount, the obvious conclusion is to discredit the entire vote, not just the three states Stein has managed to get recounts in.

We may be witnessing the last few breaths of the Democrat Socialist Party.

I highly doubt it though, with neocons like Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell still trying to revive it, and heavily prepared to undercut and undermine Trump and those who voted for him every chance they get.
