Conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh has been one of President-elect Donald Trump's staunchest backers, but he said on his show Tuesday he won't be if Trump becomes a global warming advocate.
"I'm gonna tell you, the fastest way for me to abandon all this is if they sign on to this," Trump said of the climate change issue. "I'm just telling you right now, folks, I can't look the other way at that, and I won't. There's no way on earth."
But Limbaugh said he's taking a wait-and-see attitude after Trump met with former Vice President Al Gore at Trump Tower in New York on Monday.
Limbaugh said the meeting with Gore, as well as those with many other of Trump's perceived rivals, is "a show.""A lot of this is, 'Al Gore wants to talk to me? What about? Climate? Fine. Bring him in. I'll talk to him.' Yes, sir, yes, sir, three bags full, Gore leaves, thinks he's mattered," Limbaugh said.
