Are there any Senators who might be so mortified at what trump and the republicans are doing

that they would cross over and convert to Dems?
This has happened before....it would be a way to get the majority without winning it....

Hate to break it to you, DUmmy, but it's almost(?) always the LOSING side that loses members following a decisive victory--like Arlen Spector (R to D) in 2009, and Ben Nighthorse Campbell (D to R) in 1995.

You see, there are a lot of advantages to being in the majority--committee chairmanships, etc., and pretty much none to being in the minority. That alone is a YUUUGE incentive for the majority party maintaining members, and minority members to switch sides. In fact, there has been some buzz that Joe Manchin may switch. You can bet that the D's are well aware of that, and are doing everything they can to keep Joe content with being a Dem.

Joe Manchin most likely will jump sides. So the DUchebag has that going for him.

However, the big concern will be how many donk senators in red states decide to go along with whacky Trump ideas like enforcing immigration laws, reducing useless and burdensome federal regulations  and renegotiating poor trade deals? My money is on MOST OF THEM.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I don't know a lot about Manchin ,but from what I do know he just as well switch. The democrats has left him by the wayside.

If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

From what I know of him, they would kick GOP ass if he ran as their candidate.  We can therefore rest assured they will go harder left, and strain to run someone who isn't a white male and is as far left as you can get without carrying a CPUSA card.
