She won it in CALIFORNIA.

Let’s do some math. I’ll round the numbers to make it easy.

Hillary is now about 2 million votes ahead of Trump nationwide. HOWEVER, she is about 4 million ahead in California. In other words, if you take away California, Clinton loses the popular by 2 million votes. If you take away CA and NY, she loses by about 3.5 million.

The argument is completely bogus and must be called out. Of course, officially, she won the popular – but ONLY because of California.

While I have very mixed feelings about the Electoral College, I can only imagine how the rest of the country would feel if large, coastal states like CA and NY ultimately decided our elections.

It's a good solid statement of fact, and like all statements of facts, it cuts both ways.  I myself, I'm not sure what I think about this; on one hand, the majority should rule, yes, but on the other hand.....

One now wonders how far ahead George Bush was in 2000, before the vote from California was tallied.

Never mind; I just looked it up.

In 2000, George Bush while winning the presidency ostensibly got 500,000 fewer votes than Alphonse Capote Gore, nationally.

Gore beat surpassed him in California by circa 1,300,000.

Something's got to be done about this, so California doesn't dominate America.

From what I can discern, the overwhelming majority of that California lead is in 4 counties around and in Silicon Valley.  Surprise, surprise, surprise......   ::)

Intended humorously?  I am somewhat puzzled, because that's exactly what the EC system is doing, i.e. the system we currently have in place.

Sorry, I made that comment late at night.

What I meant was "something's got to be done about California trying to dominate America."

Of course the Electoral College helps, but I suspect we need to have more than just that, to keep the Moonshine State in its place.
