Trumps new domestic advisor advocates torturing gays

Ken Blackwell, tapped last week by President-elect Donald Trump to head domestic policy during the businessman’s transition to the White House, has made anti-LGBT statements for years. Among them: Homosexuality is a sin, and gay people, just like petty thieves and fire-setters, can be rehabilitated.

The Ohio politician has long endorsed a controversial mental health practice known as conversion therapy or reparative therapy. The goal is to cure a person of his or her homosexuality, and in the case of transgender people, to reaffirm the gender into which they were born.

In the past, treatments have included everything from inducing vomiting to using mild electric shock while patients viewed homoerotic images. Since the 1990s, however, the therapy has been denounced by many medical and scientific societies and even outlawed in a handful of states. In 2015, the Obama administration expressed disapproval of the practice after Leelah Alcorn, a 17-year-old transgender teen in Ohio, took her life after being forced by her parents to undergo conversion counseling.

How many will have to suffer or die under Trump before America says “ENOUGH”!

Here is what transgender teen Leelah Alcorn had to say, shortly before taking her life…

1. A vote for Trump was a vote for pro-torture. *GRAPHIC WARNING.*

HRC tap danced around the issue, not Trump. And we are not talking that sissy crap of waterboarding oh no…we are talking about torture! Trump is ALL for this;

Something to do with making America great again.

1. The Soldiers responsible for Abu Ghraib were already being prosecuted by the Army by the time the photos were made public.

2. It only became an issue because of Dem grandstanding trying to undermine the war for partisan political gain.

3. These incidences are aberrations in the US military. Among the jihadists beheadings and burning prisoners alive is A POLICY

4. Whenever we point to the jihadists beheading and burning people alive you bitch and whine about us pointing it out.

5. You're blaming someone for something that occurred more than a decade before he was elected and who the Bush family despises?

So...

...**** you.

5. While an HRC vote was for anal sex with a bayonet. Hobbs choice really

Cheney pushed John Yoo to blaze the American path for Presidential perogative.  Obama legitimized it and HRC laughed at the joy of it.

9. We do not have a President Clinton.

We have a Presudent Trump.

Do you like what we have?

So, what you're saying is: It's okay if Hillary does it.

Because you wouldn't be such a histrionic fag is Hillary had won.

The paperwork is already moving through the system.

The legal system will collapse under the weight.

I seriously look for this asshole to be removed from office in short order.

Wouldn't that require leaving your safe spaces?

along with electromagnetic, the weak and strong force…I don’t know what reality Trump and crew lives in. What is worse, I think the GOP will go along with it so they can end up with POTUS Pence…ack…

You ****ed up naming the 4 forces, dipshit.

13. Ken Blackwell was the corrupt asshat that delivered Ohio to Bush

when Blackwell served as Secretary of State, the state office which oversees elections.  Anyone remotely involved in activism during those years are painfully aware of this story.   from wikipedia:

Diebold controversies

Ohio State Senator Jeff Jacobson asked Blackwell in July 2003 to disqualify Diebold Election Systems’ bid to supply voting machines for the state, after security problems were discovered in its software,[28] but was refused.[citation needed] Blackwell had ordered Diebold touch screen voting machines, reversing an earlier decision by the state to purchase only optical scan voting machines which, unlike the touch screen devices, would leave a “paper trail” for recount purposes.[citation needed]

On April 4, 2006, the Columbus Dispatch reported that Blackwell “owned stock [83 shares, down from 178 shares purchased in January 2005] in Diebold, a voting-machine [and ATM] manufacturer, at the same time his office negotiated a deal” with the company. After discovering the stock ownership, Blackwell promptly sold the shares at a loss.[29] He attributed the purchase to an unidentified financial manager at Credit Suisse First Boston who he said had, without his knowledge, violated his instructions to avoid potential conflict of interest.[30]

79. The same purging of voters that happened in 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012

happened in 2016 as well. Greg Palast documents it. I posted an OP about it but it didn’t get much attention here since it seems that the hatred of HRC is so great as to cause many to ignore things they don’t want to accept, like how the election could have been stolen. Even though that will be one of the first things you hear about the primary, that it was stolen.

Can’t have it both ways. You either care about democracy or you don’t. But you can’t only care about it when it goes your way.

That being said, there are other reasons for HRC to have lost, but it may be the case that she didn’t actually lose and I would really like to get rid of electronic voting immediately so we can have transparent elections that can’t be easily manipulated by corporations who control the machines we vote on.

Equal voting rights for the dead!

They would have wanted it that way.

18. Good post

Perhaps this explains how Trump pulled off a statistical impossibility and won when most major polls gave Hilllary the win by a wide margin.

Or...

...the media are lying propagandists.

And it goes on like that.

Blackwell owned 183 shares of Diebold stock? Wowzers! That's like .0003% of the company (based on 71M shares currently outstanding, rounded down to 70M plus rounding up the calculated percentage). The current stock price of Diebold is around $25/share. 183 shares would be $4575, larger than most DU-folks' investment portfolios maybe, but basically insignificant. Now if Blackwell had invested $1,000 in Diebold and sold it a year or two later for $100,000, that might be worth talking about.

A :tinfoil: isn't enough for these DU-folk. They need to be wrapped up in the tinfoil like a baked potato or burrito!

You have no proof of this, but it's funny: You were all for this exact approach the last 8 years when it was Tea Partiers doing the protesting.

11. He will be the real life Butcher of Bakersfield.

Given enough time, Trump will commit an atrocity.

That, is a rather interesting statement, a telling statement.

The Butcher of Bakersfield , refers to Ben Richards, in "The Running Man":
[youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8DQlqemkcQ[/youtube]

In that story, Ben Richards was framed and wrongly convicted for opening fire on an unarmed crowd of civilians. In that sense, Trump is ALREADY the real life "Butcher of Bakersfield", as you (D)Ummies and all the other leftards continue to accuse him of everything from "kills kittens" to "concentration camps".

The backdrop for that movie was a leftist big government "utopia" where you get freebies from papagov for turning in others, with extra bonuses for turning in family members. Turning them in for things like, contraband...too much cash, music on the censored list, being related to the wrong people...and in that world, you could expect to be treated to re-education at a minimum, for a minor infraction.

The first takeaway from all this is that you, (D)Ummie, were rooting for the government and against Ben Richards in that movie, which makes complete sense, knowing that you're a (D)Ummie. The second takeaway from all this is that you obviously fell asleep well before the movie was over. Why? Because in the movie, the public learns the facts about that government, and about the lies told about Ben Richards. There is a strong parallel to current events there, not that I expect that you're capable of seeing or understanding it..

Enjoy your Cadre Cola, collectivist asshole.

And then, said DUmmie would think that they had a direct line to the CEO because they owned those three shares. :whatever:

Nope - any group that deliberately ignores a 1st time cattle futures trade of $10K that returns $100K would also ignore a $1K investment turning into a $100K return...

It's a commonplace that 90% of ones fear are things that never happen. With loony Progs like that the percentage is more like 99.99%, and when what they fear doesn't happen, they dismiss it as having been prevented by their puny rantings and whinings.
