How about these tips:
1. Remember the whole freaking point of the holiday is to be thankful for what you have, not whine and argue about what you'd like to change about life. I realize this has always been a very hard task for the DUmmies and most ultra- liberals in general even before the election, but it helps.
2. Remember that most families have an unspoken rule about not discussing politics, at least at the Thanksgiving table. If someone else you disagree with starts this, either remind them of this rule, or ignore him or her and not make things worse.
3. Demonstrate basic human decency towards those who you are most obligated to show it to, your families. This too, I know, is very hard for the DUmmies, since basic human decency is a foreign concept for them.
4. Realize that (GASP) Other people are entitled to their opinions, too.
