Still find myself struggling to accept this news.
 
Like with any terrible momentus news I'm still finding myself daily walking around in a state of shock. I think I've accepted it and then I read the news about some new way in which this is all such a cluster****, be it news of Trumps appointments or some other realisation, and I'm right back to feeling numb. I'm not even American, live in Canada thankfully, but I follow global news and politics closely. The fallout from this will be global, like it was with Bush, only I fear much worse. 

Still in mom and dads basement I see.

Every time I do, the words "This country is ****ing insane" escapes my mouth.

I'm incredulous.

I'm going to tune out federal government for the next 1.5 years until we can run again.

The man has the vocabulary of a 3rd grader, and his staff picks are nuts. This will be a very bad 4 8 years, we took 8 steps backwards and the worst part is Republicans will control all 3 branches.

It would take a hell of a lot of changed votes to overturn the electoral landslide stomping that Trump gave Cankles.

It would do loconuts some good to have his mom and dad take him on a vacation to Hawaii where he could forget about his troubles for a while

Want to talk "momentous"? Try a young woman whose Dad died of a heart attack while still in his 60s! Want to talk "momentous"? Try another young woman who has a preschooler and another little one due in a few months whose husband is in the hospital and she's praying for "a miracle"!

These are some of the "momentous" things happening to some people in our family's lives.

Or try the young dental assistant in Davis, CA, a triathlete, who lost her legs early this year to an infection! Saturday she wheeled and walked a 5K in a Turkey Trot! That's "momentous" and a woman who will overcome momentous!
