Al Sharpton Planning D.C. Protests Ahead of Trump’s Inauguration

MSNBC host Al Sharpton is planning a protest at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial in D.C. just six days before Donald Trump’s inauguration to the White House.

“You think you’re going to take away our health care? Saddle up your horse. We’re going to fight every step of the way. You better know we’re coming. We ain’t backing down. We lost a round but the fight ain’t over,” Sharpton said during a rally.

The controversial activist promised to “put pressure” on senators who will be tasked with confirming Trump’s cabinet nominees, adding that he’s met with lawmakers to craft a legislative strategy for the incoming Republican administration.

He said he would specifically push Congress to uphold Obamacare. Trump said on the campaign trail he would repeal President Obama’s signature health care law, though he told the Wall Street Journal on Friday he would now consider leaving pieces of it in tact.

“We have got to hold the Democratic Party’s feet to the fire for losing the election,” Sharpton said. “We have lost an election but we haven’t lost our minds.”

Well, he has to protest ahead of the inauguration, because after the inauguration, he's subject to arrest for tax evasion.

This election finally called the bluff that the black community has any power.  It has none.  Their pressure will result in a head-patting.  We have the Senate and the House- the latter which has sent mutliple repeal bills that got vetord by obozo.

This time there is nothing to stop the repeal.
