Report: Obama Has Not Ruled Out Pardoning Hillary
« on: November 09, 2016, 10:38:01 PM »
By Todd Beamon   |   Wednesday, 09 Nov 2016 08:45 PM

President Barack Obama has not ruled out pardoning Hillary Clinton before he leaves office in early January despite her not being charged with a crime.

"The president has offered clemency to a substantial number of Americans who were previously serving time in federal prisons," White House press secretary Josh Earnest responded Wednesday when asked by reporters.

Clinton, who lost Tuesday's election to Donald Trump, has come under attack for using a private email account when she was secretary of state.

In addition, the Clinton Foundation is reportedly under investigation.

Clinton has not been charged with any crimes.

Trump said during his second debate with Clinton last month that he would appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the 33,000 emails she deleted from her private server.

Kellyanne Conway, Trump's campaign manager, suggested Wednesday that the issue had not been abandoned, the Post reports.

Hillary has committed so many felonies that to pardon her would require pardoning hundreds of felonies.

How many convictions can a potus pardon?

I suspect the pardons are already written, and Minister of Injustice Lynch told Inspector Clouseau the same. That is why he announced the e-mail investigation would end without prosecution- both times.

A preemptive pardon implies guilt. and it will taint the Clinton legacy for all of history.
go ahead. But the foundation will still be closed.

Lynch and Obama can't shield HRC on capital crimes, which would likely come out in REAL investigations where those doing the fact-finding were able to so without fear of political reprisals from all three branches of government (at once).

We may actually be able to break free from the dark government if Republicans continue draining the swamp in the congress and senate.

Start from the top down.

The president's pardon power is nearly absolute. Emperor Three Putt could, if he chose, issue a blanket pardon for all Felonia von Pantsuit's acts from the moment of her conception until the moment the pardon is signed, and it would be constitutional and irrevocable.

And it has precedent.

Quote
By the President of the United States of America a Proclamation

Richard Nixon became the thirty-seventh President of the United States on January 20, 1969 and was reelected in 1972 for a second term by the electors of forty-nine of the fifty states. His term in office continued until his resignation on August 9, 1974.

Pursuant to resolutions of the House of Representatives, its Committee on the Judiciary conducted an inquiry and investigation on the impeachment of the President extending over more than eight months. The hearings of the Committee and its deliberations, which received wide national publicity over television, radio, and in printed media, resulted in votes adverse to Richard Nixon on recommended Articles of Impeachment.

As a result of certain acts or omissions occurring before his resignation from the Office of President, Richard Nixon has become liable to possible indictment and trial for offenses against the United States. Whether or not he shall be so prosecuted depends on findings of the appropriate grand jury and on the discretion of the authorized prosecutor. Should an indictment ensue, the accused shall then be entitled to a fair trial by an impartial jury, as guaranteed to every individual by the Constitution.

It is believed that a trial of Richard Nixon, if it became necessary, could not fairly begin until a year or more has elapsed. In the meantime, the tranquility to which this nation has been restored by the events of recent weeks could be irreparably lost by the prospects of bringing to trial a former President of the United States. The prospects of such trial will cause prolonged and divisive debate over the propriety of exposing to further punishment and degradation a man who has already paid the unprecedented penalty of relinquishing the highest elective office of the United States.

Now, THEREFORE, I, GERALD R. FORD, President of the United States, pursuant to the pardon power conferred upon me by Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution, have granted and by these presents do grant a full, free, and absolute pardon unto Richard Nixon for all offenses against the United States which he, Richard Nixon, has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 20, 1969 through August 9, 1974.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this eighth day of September, in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and seventy-four, and of the Independence of the United States of America the one hundred and ninety-ninth.

I have to agree with Mr. Mann, the Big Barker, and BSS.  Nothing to really be done about it if Obama does pardon her, even in a sweeping way, and it may well happen...it won't kill her as a moneymaker for the Clinton foundation and sought-after speaker charging huge honoraria for appearances at graduations, corporate events, and off-shore political interests seeking to avail themselves of the Clinton network connections, but it will pretty much kill her as a viable Presidential candidate and forestall a politically-charged conflagration...plus I'm fairly sure that at least one diehard feminist or Hillbot would be able to lie his or her way onto a jury, making final conviction unlikely, the Donna Brazile example shows us that they will lie, get caught and lie again while playing every victim card they can, and then when irrevocably cornered boast that they did it and they're proud they did it.
