Delusions of Grandeur at JPR? You decide...

Here's a notice at the top of that site's pages:

Bots (Hill-bots?) have been occasionally attacking our site, and this might get worse as we near the election. Our DDoS protection seems effective when we use it; when we turn it on, when you surf to JPR you'll first get a Cloudflare page announcing you'll be delayed 5 seconds while it checks you out. We'll turn it on as needed.

Now, I suppose it's possible that someone might consider DDOSing that website, but how likely would that be, really? It's a very low-traffic website that few people actually know exists. DU, on the other hand, is far better known, but nobody's DDOSing DU.

What I think is that they haven't paid for enough bandwidth or the site is buggy. I can't imagine anyone bothering to attack such a website. Not for a minute.

(Well, there is a website in a parallel universe that will miss JPR when it's gone. But, they'll still have us to entertain them.)

Whatever they may say about the jackals, the primitives sure do let them get under their skin. I noticed the drunk nancegreggs is constantly creating posts dripping with bile and seething anger that they exist.
