I don't know why I'm giving you all more ammunition but my husband made a card for me yesterday.  He bought me a 54" round mirror that I had been wanting for a long time.  The card he made had a picture of the mirror and around the mirror he said, "Every time you look in the mirror, remember I will love you forever".  Then on the other side he said, "P.S. Be happy, you will always look younger than your are ~ ".

I'm thinking my husband is thinks I'm a tad vain.   :p

It is a nice gift, and thoughtful.  It is always special when you are gifted with something you have wanted for a while.  It means the giver remembers your thoughts.

A mirror really isn't a tool of vanity, for it will not lie to you.  Vanity is a lifesize portrait or statue ordered to capture what you want to see.
