The deplorables don't fall far from the tree.

I just got a call from one of my son's teachers to inform me of an incident that happened in her class yesterday. My son had already told me about it last night and said I might get a call that he was in trouble because he blurted out "what the hell?!" when it happened.

A kid dared another to sneak up behind my son and slap him on the back of the head. Of course when he got hit, he jumped and swore. A lot more mildly than I would have I might add.

The teacher expressed surprise at the kid who did the hitting, but said it wouldn't have surprised her at all if the instigator had been the one to do it himself. She assured me the hitter had been referred to the dean for discipline, and told me she was disappointed she wasn't allowed to refer the instigator...but added she planned to take care of him in the classroom in ways she reasonably could.

I bet you know where I am going with this, don't you?

Instigator has expressed Trump support all school year and the family has a Trump/Pence sign in the yard and a bed sheet hanging between two trees that says "Jail Crooked Hillary." My son has not been overly political at school, but apparently the kids in that classroom knew who supported whom for president. And I guess he's spoken up and factually rebutted some of Instigator's previous asinine statements about Clinton. Gee, wonder why my kid was a target?

I find it a little amusing my son thought he was going to get in trouble. Teacher never said a word about his reaction. Good thing too, because I would have defended him on that one! I'm just grateful he didn't say "what the ****?!" like his momma would have.

November 09 cannot come fast enough!

One moronic bully is all Trump supporters? Cool reasoning, dudette! It's more likely, IMO, that the bully's parent gave him a chewing out the school wouldn't dare do.

If he had defended himself he would have - standard school policy-laziness, dating back to the early 70s in my personal experience. It's a good Lib/Prog policy, so:

If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.
