The group of old men in McDonald's at 6am every morning.

Every time I've been in a McDonald's in the early morning, no matter where I am in the country, almost without fail I will see a group of old men there hanging out and drinking coffee.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that. On the contrary, I think it would be interesting to hear what they are talking about. You never know, in another 25 years I might be one of them.

You got to wonder about a pol site where, after making the observation about old men at McDonald's drinking coffee at 6am, you feel compelled to say "I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that", as though if you didn't say there was nothing wrong with that you'd be attacked by the members there.

My dad is one of those "old coffee drinkers" (although I think they usually rotate between McDonalds, Steak and Shake, and a local breakfast joint))... Dad's a longtime union guy, (so we've had some epic wars in the past), and he's voting Trump.

My dad was one of them too - He passed maybe two and a half years ago. He would buy one cup in the morning, and refill it all day long at whatever McD's he happened to be nearby at the time.

Same here except it was the Union 76 truck stop that he and his buddies went to.  Dunno if it is still called that now.  Only place you can get dinner food at 6am or breakfast food at 6pm.
