He was wearing a t-shirt that said "I'm Deplorable And Damned Proud." I made a comment to my wife, not subtle, I'm sure he could hear. It was intended that he hear. I just don't get these people. Why are you 'damned proud' to be a racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobe? I'm not a spring chicken, but by the looks of him I could gather in what era he used to think America was "great."

Oh now, my good friend Atman's--and the primitives who agree with him on that thread--being disingenuous here; he knows exactly why people act that way.

Consider who calls decent and civilized people "deplorables,," "racists, " "haters," "bigots," "sexists," whatnot else.

But my response to my good friend Atman is, if this were the 1930s and we were in Germany, the more the names Adolph Hitler called me, and the fouler the names, the more I'd brag about it.

Same thing here.  But you really know that.

What Pedro fails to realize is when billary was talking about "basket of deplorables," she was referencing hard working family people, veterans, religious people, those who support the 1st and 2nd Amendments, and the like. Those that are "racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobe" are called liberals.
