The GOP IS Trump when it comes to elections results. The way they have obstructed and attacked Obama shows they do not respect the will of the people either. And their refusal to consider Supreme Court nominee even further shows their contempt of elections if ANYONE but their candidate is in office.

ALL Democrats at any level is not legitimate for them. They refuse to negotiate with any Democrat who holds office whether it is federal, state, county, municipal et al. ONLY GOP representatives have the right to govern. Yet they do not even do that job.

Like the way Ds "obstructed and attacked" G. W. Bush? And "obstructed and attacked" G. H. W. Bush? And "obstructed and attacked" Reagan?

Unlike whiny whinging Lib & Prog hypocrites, I think Rs and conservatives know that Representatives represent their districts, states, and what they understand as what is best for the US. Ditto for Senators, for their states and the US. If the writers of the US Constitution wanted Congress to be a rubber-stamp for the President they would have made it appointed by the President.

The truth Libs & Progs like TMN only recognize when an R is President is that the writers of the US Constitution already knew what that much concentrated power looked like, from 150 years of being British colonies, and based on that experience intentionally limited the President's power.

If TMN was on DU at the time, I think it's pretty certain he was cheering the Ds' "obstruction and attacks" rather than blathering about, "respect(ing) the will of the people".
