You have to admit, all the factoids set up the punchline, "he's a got-damned nazi!" pretty well. She's German, has a german accent, and is old enough to have memories of Hitler. Blue dress, slippers, sweeping the porch, the supposedly mistaken first name, all tossed in gratuitously to increase DU-cred. But what ordinary person would mention those things just to say, "The little old lady next door called Trump, 'Hitler'"?
