And I thought claiming Trumpsters or disaffected TEA Party people was too stupid for DU-folk to make the claim. It seems I consistently under-estimate DU-folks capacity for and creativity in concocting stupidity. This forum does help in my recovery.
That's the interesting/ hypocritical thing about the DUmmies, and ultra- liberals in general:
In one argument (Usually when they wish to appear intellectually superior to those who disagree with them), they portray all Republicans everywhere as a bunch of brainless, inbred, ignorant, dirt- poor, gap- toothed, gun- and- Bible- toting hillbillies who all live in trailer parks or secluded parts of the Southern backwoods and only go into inhabited areas to harass blacks and gays and go on shooting rampages.
Then, in another argument of theirs five minutes later (Usually when they wish to appear morally superior to those who disagree with them), they portray all Republicans everywhere as a bunch of filthy- rich, diabolically- brilliant, pure- evil corporate boogeymen living in gated- community mega- mansions who love deliberately oppressing/ tormenting poor people and destroying the environment just for the fun of it, and regularly pull off elaborate conspiracies to try and advance their own evil goals.
To put it in 'Simpsons' terms, in one argument of theirs, all Republicans everywhere are a cross between Ned Flanders and Cletus, then in another argument of theirs five minutes later, all Republicans everywhere are a cross between Mr. Burns and the Rich Texan.
The fact that these two portrayals are completely contradictory to each other never occurs to the DUmmies.
