Huff Post Headline Says It's Over For Trump. Hope It Is. But Exposes Festering Puss.

Even though Huff Post headline declares it's over for Trump. One hopes it is. However it declares that Trump support did not totally collapse. His national percentage stuck around 38%. That means the infected puss that remains will still have to somehow be excised or neutralized.

38% means that too many Americans still have their heads up their collective asses. These deplorables will continue to seethe with hatred. It is just appalling that so many Americans support the POS Trump. They are willing to put a psycho in the White House with the "football" and they are willing to put a religious extremist nutmeg a heartbeat away from the presidency. A man who would put treasonous and destructive RW religious policies in action.

Such and administration would destroy this country. And we have already damaged out reputation throughout the world.

12. Really? Puss refers to a cat, a face, or is a crude slang term.

Pus doesn't fester on its own, it's a result of the festering, at least as far as I know. Using puss in the headline is confusing. I don't get the sense of it.

I'm not trying to be irritating, I just don't get why you're sticking with that word.

Too late; ol' Bob already took off, so he's not around to answer.

1. Looks like Bob's back to his standard anti- Christian hatemongering. I'd imagine his idea of "Treasonous and destructive RW religious policies" means things like allowing Christmas to be publicly celebrated, allowing Christian employers to not have to worry that their own money may be used to fund employees' abortions if they don't agree with such things, and allowing Christian kids and teens to be able to bring their Bibles to school and pray over their lunches without fear of being expelled and arrested for committing a "Hate crime."
2. Trump has never demonstrated any major religious leanings, let alone enough to qualify him as "A religious extremist nutmeg." Then again, Bob hops to the conclusion that anyone who's not a rabid atheist like him is automatically a "Religious extremist nutmeg."

Your #2 is pretty much it. That said, there's a small group on the fringes of Evangelical Christianity that many Libs & Progs call "Dominionists" and believe are pervasive among Evangelicals. He probably is referring to them. Christian Reconstructionists (as they call themselves, they don't call themselves "Dominionists" - not a big deal, except it shows that TMN and similar Progs are blathering in ignorance) exist, as I said, but they are very few, and their influence is tiny among Evangelicals, if that much. Unlike TMN, I've been among and fellowshipped with Evangelicals for over 6 decades (though my memory might be a little short of a full 6 decades). TMN's just lashing at at bogeymen he's been told he should fear, but with whom he's never gotten up close and personal.

As far as i can determine Trump and the drunk, sick, evil grammy are still neck and neck. Trump appears to be ahead in quite a few battle ground states and has brought a few blue states to purple. But hey if puffho wants to keep the stoner vote at home, more power to them.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
