Skins's island is pretty bad right now, a Wolkenkuckkuchsheim of fantasy about the upcoming presidential election, so time for something completely different.

How do I remove spilled house paint from the floor of my trunk?

Carpet is involved.

I blotted up as much as I could tonight.

It was about 1/2 a gallon of Sherwin Williams Satin.

(Don't ask. It was a MESS!)

1. Maybe you could peel it off in one piece once it dries???? I'm a little optimistic.

That help, but stores are probably closed now. I wouldn't wait until it dries because it will be more difficult to remove. If it's an acrylic based (interior) paint, then its water soluble. I'd get out there asap with water and whatever household cleaner you have.

if it's acrylic.

And a shop-vac.

One that vacs water.

It will take a loong time.

Don't let it dry(as said above).

If it's oil based, sorry.

I was surprised as Hell to see Jugs on that thread; I mean, shouldn't she be hanging in one of the seven forums on Skins's island dedicated to women?  Four of which she herself, with the help of the other three Four Horsewomen of the Femapocalyse, forced Skins to create?

That seems to happen a lot over there.  First, there was the locust primitive who talked Skins into creating a television forum, of which he'd be moderator.  So Skins went through the time and trouble of having the elusive enigmatic Elad create it.....and the locust primitive ran away.

Then there was Skippy, who talked Skins into a creating a forum for terrorist news-sites.  That was done, but then Skippy never hung around there, never posted there.  He was banned, but that was several months after creation of his forum; he had plenty of time to post before then.

If I were Skins, the next time a primitive impudently demanded I create a new forum, I'd tell the primitive to go **** himself.

And oops, I can't believe I forgot about the big guy and his shortbus forum, how it was put up for him, and then he ungratefully walked away from it.

In fairness to the big dolt I have heard he was dying so he may just have walked away and forgot how to get back.

I'm no attorney, and I wonder if poor dear long-suffering Marta might have a case, some sort of lawsuit to recover damages from him, for breach of promise.  He promised he was going to die, but now it looks as if he's going to live longer than Methuselah. 

Which leaves Marta in a pretty pickle, as she was probably counting on being able to marry again, this time to some guy who cares about her.  And being a woman, it's not as if her aestheticity's going to last forever.  The longer she has to wait, the less likely.....
