26. I feel your pain

Lost my best friend of 50 years...and I'm 56. My heart is still broken. This election is revealing who people really are...and I guess I didn't know her as well as I thought. But even when Hillary wins the election...I think we all will have lost... someone. Hang in there...it gets easier.

Sorry, only one noob bouncy at a time.

27. I just spent last Saturday with Trump-loving friends

We're a handful of couples that have known each other for decades. They're mainly on my husband's side, but we socialize often. All conservative, which has never been an issue before this election. Trump has exposed a bigotry that to this day I didn't even know existed in them. Example: two of the couples were talking about their recent vacations to Mexico (one to Cancun, the other to Mazatlan.) Both raving about how beautiful it all was....except for "all the Mexicans" The most rabid of them is a woman who has used every social program imaginable, has had at least one abortion, and whose English skills (they're all immigrants) are elementary, even after living in this country for over 20 years. I nearly bloodied my tongue biting down so hard.

Now that is the old college effort!

29. I went through same thing ...

With numerous friends. Hell my cousin, whom I love dearly, won't stop posting on Facebook about 'Killery' and Benghazi. It is all I can do to keep myself from unfriending her. Thanks, Trump, for dividing us. That's probably the one thing he does best.

I would say making you lunatics vanish from their lives is one reason many are voting for him.

You all lost your best friends because you're insufferable DUmmies. You should feel lucky you were able to hide this disability for all the years you did.

This is what happens when you immerse your entire lives in politics.  Your values get very screwed up.  That said, I don't have any liberal friends to lose.  I just don't like them, and lying comes way too easily for them.

I do have one moonbat stepson, but this election has not impacted our relationship at all.

In my experience, most relationships with liberal types have a strong parasitic element.  I expect their friends, if they ever actually had any, will at least have a little more cash on hand to soothe their loss.

When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I've got a few lib friends who have their heads screwed on halfway on some issues.  They know where I stand, and I know where they stand.

We manage to respect each other without any issues.

What you see at the DUmp are examples of exactly what Karin is talking about.  For the DUmpians, politics is the all-consuming issue that trumps (pun intended) everything else in their lives.

27. I just spent last Saturday with Trump-loving friends

I nearly bloodied my tongue biting down so hard.

I know exactly what the vacationing couples are talking about.  I go down to Mexico a lot, to beach resorts, and the Mexicans will pester you to death.  If you're out on the beach, expect an endless parade of Mexicans trying to sell you everything but the kitchen sink.  I've been sitting on the beach wearing a pair of sunglasses when some Mexican comes up and tries to sell me a pair of sunglasses.  Saying that you already have a pair won't make them go away.  Saying "no thank you" won't make them go away.  They're hoping that you'll give them some money to make them go away.  You have to out wait them and be rude until they get the message that you're not buying what they're selling and you're not going to pay them to go away.  Same thing with hats.  No thanks, I already have a hat.  And bracelets and temporary tattoos and chewing gum, especially chewing gum plus anything else you can imagine.  Just when my wife and I are having a nice conversation over a couple of drinks while relaxing and enjoying the sea view, another one comes interrupting.  So I get the "except for all the Mexicans" comment.

Full disclosure--my wife was born and raised in Mexico, but that is probably just more evidence of my racism in the eyes of the left.

edit to add--We'd like to go give the French Riviera a shot if it didn't cost so much.  The French are probably decent enough to ignore foreigners on their beaches.

Absolutely true story here...

I have a female acquaintance who is new to town, just having moved here from out west.  She's an attractive blonde, and since she doesn't know anyone, she does the internet dating thing.

Last weekend, some guy is hanging out at the local pub, and it turns out he is her internet date, he drove over 90 miles to meet her.  They are sitting next to me at the bar, seemingly getting along fine.

Suddenly the dude gets up and leaves.

I asked the lady what was up...she said "He's voting for Hillary, I told him that this wouldn't work out".
Help keep America beautiful...deface a liberal.

The Democrat and Republican parties are simply the left and right wings of the same bird of prey.

The road to freedom is paved with dead liberals.

I don't consider those voting for the destruction of my grandson's future as a straight white male as a personage I want within 10 miles of me.
I unfriended my nephew, niece, brother and SIL on FB and IRL, as well as my husband's cousin.  Other than that, the parents of the girl living with my son...I don't approve on any level.
Yeah, makes me a bitch.  Don't care.  Not like they give a shit about the future of this country.
