One of the firearm recertification classes I took they had us shoot at green silhouettes instead of black ones. The reasoning was that so some a-hole lawyer would not be able to say we were trained to shoot at "black" targets (meaning black people) if we ever shot a black person.

And so precisely near and around the center of each ring - no shots touching the border between two rings - and so nicely all around each ring, no clustered hits. Almost as if some activist bought or created a target, selectively punched holes in it, printed "Police Department Shooting Range" (no city name) across the top, and made it look like a photo of a newspaper clipping. As in totally phony, yet believed by MrS and various DU-folk because it fits their worldview.

If some one posts a link to this pic from the Chattanooga Times-Freepress I'll at least believe the "picture" was published (maybe by a "news"paper whose confirmation bias caused them not to confirm the picture is real).

That was actually a real complaint about 7-8yrs ago.  Most departments switched their silhouettes to purple... I'm not sure if Barney the Dinosaur got offended or what, but I have saw Green ones starting to pop up (no doubt this is because they want to shoot people who do not have a "Green" card... hmmm..)
