In ProgLand, Indians are
Conditionally PC at best: many are very educated and very successful in business and professions. Like East Asians and at least some Caribbean blacks, they give the lie to Progs' worldview narrative that POC
cannot succeed in the US because racism. They're only PC in cases of Sikhs being mistaken for Muslims and attacked (Islamophobia Narrative) or are GBLTXYZ (e.g. DU's own LLP - Homophobia Narrative).
That said, the shooter, being Indian, doesn't fit Progs' crazed white Fundie gun-nut stereotype, so he probably got little mention there (if any).
