Right Wing wacko laid off at my work

I work for a large global company in aerospace. I work in engineering, but we have production down stairs. We had a small riff last month, 32 people out of 1200 at my location. Now I never would wish losing your job on anyone, even this person, but man this guy was a disgusting racist piece of garbage. Every single day in the cafeteria he would rant and rave loudly about how Obama was a Muslim who wasn't born here. He'd complain about how ghetto people were destroying his country and liberals were all lazy takers. Just a total non thinking zombie who blamed all of his own problems on others, nothing was ever his own fault. It was always that socialist in the White House, or Hillary who had caused everything bad. We were no longer free and it was all the liberals.

My company did a good job with layoffs IMO, we're waiting for a big contract to get finalized and it's been dragging on too long so they had to lay some workers off. It was 100% based on performance, the screw ups who didn't get things done right and couldn't get along with anyone got laid off, they were told 6 weeks before their last day, they all get a decent severance, and the company had exit counseling and services to help them deal with everything, polish up their resumes, and even find other jobs.

So while I hope this guy found a job that was better for him, I am thankful I no longer have to listen to his ignorant rants. And I can't imagine how miserable he would have been to work next to. I've worked with miserable souls like him before, they blame everything on others, zero responsibility. This delusional man is the typical Trump supporter.

Which means he would fit right in at the DUmp if he was real.

:bsmeter: I think this is total BS. Until a week ago I worked for a military contractor. BS like this supposed RWer's ranting and raving would get some one canned where I worked (after warnings), not for subject matter, but for being loud, rude, and disruptive. :bsmeter:

True :bouncy: ... I wasn't exactly laid off. The company decided that housing is too expensive in Silicon Valley to recruit talent, and gave several hundred people 17 months' notice that operations were being moved to SoCal. IOW, move or find another job.

I agree with you, SVPete.  It's the disruption especially.  A workplace needs to be as harmonious as possible.  I had to have a talking to with two guys who were constantly arguing politics, to the point where work was not getting done.  This sort of thing is taken care of.

Got into a discussion at the DUmp years ago about expressing political beliefs at work. A good ploy for long term moles. Almost all DUmmies think it should be allowed.  Unless you are conservative.

That holds true with pretty much everything.

The projection is strong in this DUchebag. Little tells like this are how we know it is based in the DUche's mind or...just maybe a good moling.  :whistling:

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Because of the careful stewardship of the economy by the Obama administration, he should get an offer to work someplace else. I doubt he'll recognize his good fortune.

A lot of DUmmies think the guys is going to come back with his gunzzzz.

The OP DUmmie, Johnnie 2X2X, is sitting there hitting the refresh button on his thread and replying to everyone.  It makes him look desperate to talk to someone, anyone.   :lmao:   :loser:

Is this sarcasm? I work in technology, which is one of the few sectors of the US economy that has done reasonably well since 2009 or 2010 (lets not talk about 2000-2002, 'K?), and in a sector of military electronics that has been growing. Aerospace is a roller coaster, and that doesn't even take into account the crazy world of Congressional budget tinkering (e.g. there were efforts to kill the F-18 Hornet pretty much every year in the late 70s and early 80s). Chances are, IF that layoff was real, few, if any, of those laid off will find new jobs quickly in this stagnated Obamaconomy.
