I would encourage them and praise their solidarity of kneeling.
They could even level-up, by turning their backs to the flag.

Now comes a bit of a delemma.

They are showing respect for the flag, the national anthem and all the people who died protecting this great country of ours.  If anything they are showing disdain for the prima donnas whose sole skill is running/throwing/catching a damned ball in a damned game.  When Kaepernick puts his ass on the line for this country then I might give him a pass. Until then I hope his worthless ass gets nailed by a linebacker that ends his career.

Years ago, when I lived in Denver, I was dumb enough to go to a Donkos game wearing a Raiders jersey.  The "fans" were throwing D-cell batteries at me (missing every time and taking out a Donko fan nearby).  Wonder why Kaperdick isn't dodging D-cells?

Because 9er fans recycled their dead batteries? Because 9er fans paid so much to get in to the stadium that they didn't want to get kicked out?

I have a feeling 49ers paraphernalia, Kaepernick jerseys especially, have taken a significant hit in sales - football fans showing their disapproval using their wallets. BTW, Kaepernick seems to have lost his role as starting QB - I heard that he played a little in the 4th quarter of the Rams game; he didn't show up in the box scores as having thrown even one pass.

I saw something the other day that between this whole taking a knee crap and the NFL threatening to fine anyone who had some kind of 9/11 tribute on their uniforms week one viewership was down from last year.
