Donald Trump himself said back in March the GOP pledge was null and void. Why? Trump said, “I’ve been treated very unfairly†by the RNC. Big surprise there. The "fighter" is nothing but a big crybaby. If you don't recall him saying it, here is the video: http://www.redstate.com/jaycaruso/2016/05/12/donald-trump-made-gop-pledge-worthless-others-break/
And the pledge ?
Perry's been strongly supporting Trump, Cruz, of course, has not. Seems like a pretty obvious outcome, considering that.
OK, you convinced me, Trump doesn't need Cruz' 7,762,811 voters (primary voters) or even a fraction of them.
Perry's been strongly supporting Trump, Cruz, of course, has not. Seems like a pretty obvious outcome, considering that.[/quote/)Duh, DAT! Loyalty means something to folks like Mr. Trump, and obviously Mr. Perry, Mr. Jindal, et.al. engender loyalty from a guy like Trump. One of my sisters NEVER liked Trump and still LUUURVES Cruz, but is voting for the Donald because she's not so damn stupid as to vote Clinton or a third party candidate to negate the outcome. Cruz and the rest are NOT PEOPLE OF HONOR. Just shut the **** up and grit your teeth and HONOR YOUR ****ING WORD.Damn hateful diehard idiots who want to torpedo the election for their own butt hurt pride. I hate, loathe and detest Cruz but I would voters for him over the Anti-Christ. WTF will all the ****tarded purist conservative holy than thou's do when the Supreme Court becomes this nation's arbitrators of every putrid liberal fantasy currently circulating?
There's that, and . . . Didn't Perry get elected to three full terms as Governor of the great state of Texas? Before that, wasn't he GWB's Lieutenant Governor? It would seem to me that Perry has enjoyed more consistent support, for a longer period of time, than Cruz. Plus there's the whole primary fight thing . . .
