Aside from all the young mush-head Millennials that make up a good slice of the junior ranks, and the senior field-grades, stars, and their proteges that want to camp in Washington for the rest of their careers, I expect the rest of them recognized the following:
War might happen with either candidate, but they know anything led by today's Democrats will conducted in the most half-assed and futile way possible and that any sacrifices incurred in it are doomed to be for absolutely nothing;
They are abundantly familiar with the standards expected of them in keeping government records, public oversight of their activities, and how easily your entire career can be ruined by the slightest lapse with classified material of even the lowest level, and the dissonance created by the treatment of Hillary and her associates hits them right where they live;
And last but not least, they know damn' well who is going to be on the bottom of the food chain, and will get cut to pay for everything else as well as getting all kinds of social justice and environmental roadblocks thrown in their way, if she gets in.
