A better solution is for public place like business to show they will not allow gun carrying customers into their business. Sadly right now the GOP is trying to pass laws that allow armed individuals into an establishment even if the do NOT want them there. I believe they want to give gun toters a right to sue anyone who interferes.

How on God's green earth would you know someone is carrying concealed? Do you search everyone that walks through the door?

Here's a hint: You are surrounded by guns everywhere you go but you don't know because, you know, concealed.

If you're that scared, find a job where you can work from home, have your groceries and restaurant food delivered and don't let anyone on your lawn.

I could stand next to you at the grocery store and have 3 firearms on me and you'd never, ever, EVER know.

OK in two sentences this is some effective moling.   The dummie reminds the dump gun control nut about the dump's support of the BLM and the hatred of cops... who have guns... and blasts their argument about gun control (only cops should have guns) right out of the universe.

This "dummie" does not throw the dump a bone, is not subtle and is in your face with it.  Typically not a good moling tactic. This "dummie" brings it off though.  In two sentences.

By all means, TMN, if you are that fearful that the gun or the gun owner will suddenly go berserk and start spraying bullets, call every business you've patronized, and request they ban guns entirely (a concealed carrier isn't really much different from an open carrier). I'm sure you'll find your life much simplified, immediately and over time: some businesses will have the sense to politely decline your request (or maybe tell you where to go, how to get there, and draw you a map); some will do as you request, but change back when they learn how other customers view their ban; some will do as you request, and some of those will lose enough business that they will go out of business. You might even save some $$, TMN, between places you patronize going out of business and your refusal to patronize places that serve open carriers.

Thanks for the reminder! In my "advice", quoted above, I neglected to mention that TMN should suggest that businesses who accede to his request should post a sign at customer entries proudly proclaiming the premises to be gun-free. Just to let customers who share TMN's sensibilities of their safety in patronizing those businesses.
