Except for the turd in the Party punchbowl, every speaker was fantastic.  I'm convinced that history is being made, which is why I am DVRing the entire convention.  I am proud to say I have been 100% behind Donald since Day One.  I have been pretty active IRL and Facebook arguing with the idiots and bringing the heat.  There NEVER has been any issues for me in the primary save security and jobs.  Everything else comes second or we will not have a country left in 4 years.

On the security front, I'm concerned that too many establishment Republicans and a lot of Obamite Democrats seem to think that further disrupting Syria to install some nominally-democratic government is a good idea.  If Iraq should have taught us anything, it is that the Muslim world is not dying to, nor ready to become, democracies as we know them in the West, and the secular strongmen we have been trying to kick out for the last 15 years were in fact the only thing keeping a lid on the barbarian fanatic jihadis.  Both party mainstreams seem to be heavily committed to an ideologically-driven doctrine that has no relation to reality and has no chance of doing anything but making the situation worse.  I sure hope that if Trump gets elected, he steps back and stops us from doubling down on failure.

Yeah, a lot of my Dem friends on venues like FB are talking about how Obama was such a job-creator, so wonderful for the economy, reduced crime, and illegal immigration has come to a standstill under his care.  They are, of course, totally full of shit.

The jobs created haven't kept up with losses plus population increase, let alone taking into account that thanks to Obamacare, a huge amount of lower-level full-time jobs with benefits have been degraded to part-time/no-benefits.

I'm no economist, just a critical thinker, but any economic gains look - to me - a whole lot more like just a cyclical recovery that would have been a lot stronger but for Obama's Oministration getting in the way and holding it back.  And a record high stock market does not translate into the economy booming, it just means equities are the best available place to park the ocean of cash created by the Fed under the mistaken idea it would circulate and generate real economic activity instead of just capital market bloat.

Crime going down has been a long-term trend since the 70s and probably has more to do with pervasive security cameras than any particular party having control of the White House, along with the inner cities just being drive-through safari parks where the animals eat each other and crime is so omnipresent that very little of it gets reported anyway.

And as far as illegal immigration goes, generating a stat depends on actually counting the thing under discussion.  If you simply throw open the doors and stop counting, and classify all the ones who do get counted as 'Asylum seekers,' it makes it easy to say there's not problem because the stat is very low...regardless of what the governors of Texas or Arizona say about what's really going on, down there on the border.

DAT, some people just do not deserve a true democracy.  This includes the Muslim Arab mutts who just can't grasp the concept of self-determination.  Between the 1400 years of inbreeding between first and second cousins in order to enable the retention of family property and the instillation from birth of the crushing burden of blind SUBMISSION to the religion concocted by a pedophiliac prophet Mohammed, WHAT on God's green earth possessed G.W. Again, this election boils down to a contest of a ****ing traitorous vagina vs. a belligerent but mostly sincere and most assuredly patriot.  The mere idea that this is NOT a foregone conclusion for AMERICA instead of a long, agonizing slog to Decision Day break my heart.
